External Audit Senior Associate – Assurance

About the role

Join PwC's Assurance practice in Kuwait as an External Audit Senior Associate. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver high‑quality audits for clients across financial services and non‑financial sectors, helping them meet regulatory requirements and enhance transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client financial statements to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Examine accounting records, inventory, plant and equipment, and other supporting documents.
• Test internal controls and processes of client organisations.
• Communicate findings and progress to Managers and Partners, highlighting risks, issues and budget variances.
• Take ownership of audit file completion and engagement economics.
• Review work of associate‑level staff, providing on‑the‑job training, coaching and constructive feedback.
• Research client industry information prior to engagements to build credibility.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial statement analysis.
• Ability to ask pertinent questions and engage with client personnel at all levels.
• Accountability for delivering high‑quality audit services on time and within budget.
• Effective communication with senior team members and clients.
• Experience reviewing and coaching junior staff.
