Field Driller I

About the role

The Field Driller I is responsible for overseeing safe and efficient drilling activities on the rig floor. Working under the direction of the Rig Manager, the Driller ensures that all rig‑up, rig‑down and well‑control procedures are performed according to company standards, regulatory requirements, and budgetary constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control operations on the drill floor and blow‑out preventer (BOP) area.
• Execute rig‑up and rig‑down procedures in coordination with the crew.
• Maintain drilling parameters to meet production targets while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Document daily activities, reports and safety observations.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, production and budget goals.

Required profile

• Experience working on oil‑field drilling rigs or similar heavy‑equipment environments.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and well‑control practices.
• Physical fitness and ability to work long hours in challenging offshore or on‑shore conditions.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with the Rig Manager and crew.
