Finance Director – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial function of Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a luxury beachfront resort in Kuwait. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure robust financial governance, drive strategic financial planning and support the resort’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Implement cash management controls, prepare forecasts and monitor cash flow.
• Lead the budgeting process, produce annual budgets and monthly forecasts, analyse variances and set financial targets.
• Provide financial insights for strategic planning and align departmental goals with corporate strategy.
• Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring timely reporting and continuous training.
• Manage audit processes, address findings and drive continuous improvement of financial processes and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional accreditation such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CMA.
• 10‑15 years of finance experience within 5‑star luxury hospitality brands.
• Proven experience in multicultural environments and Middle‑East operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
