Front Desk Receptionist / Sales Officer

About the role

SPARK Athletic Center, a fitness facility owned by Groupxen in Kuwait, is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist, also called the Sales Officer. The role promotes and sells membership packages to new clients and retains existing members through renewals and upgrades at approved prices, while selling all facility products and services and keeping the highest level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Sell membership packages to new clients and renewals and upgrades to current members, plus PT training, nutrition programmes and sports items
• Maintain CRM and FC planner using the established sales systems, and run referral, upselling and cross-selling programmes
• Enter and update customer details, walk-ins and inquiries in the company systems
• Make monthly courtesy calls to new members and prospect leads by phone, text, email or at events and walk-ins
• Answer calls professionally, resolve member issues empathetically, welcome visitors and give onsite tours
• Reach and exceed daily sales targets while delivering excellent customer service
• Handle administrative tasks such as facility and employee card renewals, documentation and reports, and run marketing programmes as requested by the line manager

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Sales-minded approach, excellent customer service skills and a positive, energetic attitude
• Conversational Arabic preferred

• Computer proficiency, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• CRM use
