HR Business Partner Manager - Supply Chain & Manufacturing

About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Manager acts as the strategic people partner to the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics and related support functions in Kuwait. The role aligns people strategy with business objectives and ensures operational excellence across a predominantly blue-collar workforce, covering workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, employee relations and compliance with Kuwait labor laws and company policies. Overseas candidates with GCC experience are considered.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations leaders to develop and run people strategies, give managers advice on organizational design, workforce planning and talent management, and analyze workforce trends and HR metrics.
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations and performance issues, and ensure fair application of policies and labor law.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development and recruitment and onboarding for management and frontline roles.
• Lead engagement initiatives, champion the company's values, support change management and coach managers on performance management, goal setting and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor law, collective agreements where applicable, and support compensation, benefits and workforce administration with HR Shared Services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree is a must.
• 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, FMCG or industrial environments.
• Experience managing large blue-collar and multi-national workforces.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and HR best practices.
• Ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders; excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
