HSE Officer – Kuwait

About the role

We are looking for a motivated HSE Officer to join our team in Sharq, Kuwait. The role focuses on maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant workplace for all staff and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near‑misses and develop preventive actions.
• Deliver HSE inductions and ongoing training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Develop and test emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and meetings.
• Participate in HSE meetings, providing reports and improvement suggestions.
• Monitor environmental practices such as waste disposal and pollution control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of HSE experience, preferably in telecom or oil & gas sectors.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH‑IGC or IOSH.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait HSE standards and legal requirements.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Valid driving licence and ability to work independently or in a team.
