HSE Supervisor – Site Safety Leadership

About the role

The HSE Supervisor will lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities on site, ensuring strict compliance with company policies, client requirements and local regulations while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the site HSE team, implementing HSE programs and conducting regular inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor high‑risk activities, enforce permit‑to‑work systems and approve Job Safety Analyses, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses, ensuring corrective actions are applied.
• Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks and HSE awareness campaigns.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports and coordinate emergency response drills.
• Liaise with project management, clients, subcontractors and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) mandatory; IOSH, OSHA or equivalent preferred.
• 7‑10 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within construction, power, industrial, oil & gas or infrastructure projects.
• Valid Kuwait residency and transferable visa; Arabic and English communication skills preferred.

Required skills

• NEBOSH International General Certificate
• IOSH or OSHA certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
