Instrument Analyzer Technician

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is hiring an Instrument Analyzer Technician in Kuwait, within its On Sync Energy Management Services Company. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on online analyzers and laboratory equipment used in oil and gas and petrochemical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, calibrate, test and repair online analyzers such as Gas Chromatographs (GC), BS&W, salt-in-crude, oil-in-water, H2S, O2, hydrocarbon gas, moisture, color and density analyzers.
• Diagnose analyzer faults and troubleshoot associated instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain calibration records so analyzers operate accurately and reliably.
• Monitor and arrange timely requirements for calibration gases, carrier gases and other analyzer consumables.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and report equipment issues and completed activities to supervisors.

Required profile

• Diploma in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, calibrating and repairing industrial analyzers.
• Hands-on experience with online Gas Chromatographs (GC) and other process analyzers.
• Knowledge of analyzer troubleshooting, calibration procedures and maintenance practices in oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.
