Mechanical Fitter - Oil & Gas

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is hiring a Mechanical Fitter in Kuwait through its On Sync Energy Management Services Company. The role supports the maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical equipment and machinery in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, repair, cleaning and overhauling of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, install and adjust equipment.
• Cut and fit gaskets and align flanges on pressure vessels and pipelines.
• Prepare, assemble, install and maintain piping systems of various diameters and materials.
• Support mechanical maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safe operation.
• Follow maintenance procedures, workplace safety requirements and housekeeping practices.

Required profile

• Either a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance and repair in the oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Or a Secondary School Certificate with at least 5 years of similar experience.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, turbines, compressors, engines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, coolers, valves and piping systems.
