Instrumental Music Teacher

About the role

The United Indian School is seeking a full‑time Instrumental Music Teacher to join its faculty in Jaleeb Al Shoyoukh, Kuwait. The successful candidate will deliver structured instrumental music lessons, covering both theory and performance, to students of varying skill levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging instrumental music classes aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Teach music theory and practical performance on piano and other instruments.
• Assess student progress, provide personalized feedback, and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
• Organize school music programs, concerts, recitals, and other performance events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education across the school’s curriculum.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in music performance and teaching.
• Strong knowledge of music theory and music education.
• Proficiency in piano and ability to teach a range of musical instruments.
• Passion for music, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum is advantageous.
