Laboratory Technician - Oil & Gas

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is hiring a Laboratory Technician for its On Sync Energy Management Services Company in Kuwait. The role covers collecting, preparing and testing samples, running chemical analyses on oil, gas, water and process samples, and supporting laboratory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, prepare and test samples in line with laboratory procedures.
• Carry out chemical testing and analysis of oil, gas, water and process samples.
• Analyze and present test results to senior personnel.
• Prepare technical reports, reviews and summaries.
• Conduct laboratory risk assessments and follow safe working practices.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment and stock levels, and order materials and resources.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience conducting chemical experiments, testing and analysis in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining or related industry.
• Experience in oil and gas analysis, water quality testing, chemical preparation and refining processes.

Required skills

• Strong analytical, technical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of laboratory procedures, risk assessment and safety practices.
