Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant delivers high-quality laundry services at a Radisson hotel in Kuwait, ensuring guest garments, hotel linen, towels and staff uniforms are cleaned, finished and handled to hotel standards. The role supports guest satisfaction through cleanliness, quality, efficiency and cost control, while complying with hotel policies, safety regulations and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, fold and prepare linen, guest laundry and staff uniforms, inspecting items for stains or damage and keeping guest laundry confidential and on time.
• Maintain linen and uniform stocks, repair minor damage, run monthly inventories and record daily movements of linen sent to and received from outsourced laundry.
• Operate laundry machines safely, report defects, coordinate maintenance with Engineering and manage laundry chemicals safely.
• Coordinate daily linen movement with outsourced laundry providers, verify quality and turnaround time, and keep transaction records.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures, wear PPE, handle chemicals per SDS, and report accidents and hazards.
• Provide prompt, professional service, protect guest confidentiality and maintain a clean laundry area.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel laundry experience is an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift laundry loads safely.
• Integrity, safety awareness, quality orientation, accountability, flexibility and professionalism.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of laundry operations and fabric care.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
• Good communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
