Legal Secretary

About the role

The Legal Secretary will work full‑time on‑site supporting the lawyers at Saleem Legal Group. The position involves preparing, formatting and organizing legal documents in both English and Arabic while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, format and review legal documents and correspondence.
• Manage lawyers’ calendars, schedule client meetings, hearings and court dates.
• Organise case files, maintain databases and ensure records are up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate communications with clients, external parties and handle incoming calls and emails.
• Assist with basic legal research and file documents with relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of law and legal terminology.
• Experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role supporting attorneys.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Legal document preparation (drafting, formatting, reviewing).
• Diary and calendar management.
• Proficiency with office software such as word processors, spreadsheets and case‑management tools.
