Mechanical Maintenance Lead

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Lead will be based in Kuwait supporting the LOGCAP program. The role oversees scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of humidity‑controlled metal storage buildings, including roll‑up doors, and may also supervise hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic security barriers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and perform mechanical repairs, replacements and improvements on equipment, fixtures and unit operations.
• Inspect, test and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs, prioritize work requests and assign tasks.
• Utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to record work orders, inspections and emergency requests.
• Guide junior technicians in pipefitting, plumbing, sheet‑metal work and basic troubleshooting.
• Generate reports on maintenance, safety and quality issues.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
• Relevant industry or trade certifications; specific training on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• One year of related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
