Mechanical Project Engineer – Shipyard & Power Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead boiler and piping works for power‑station and water‑distillation projects in Kuwait. The role involves managing up to ten boiler units, coordinating design and construction activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of boiler and piping systems.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications and calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience on power‑station or water‑distillation projects, preferably in shipyard or heavy‑industry environments.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale mechanical projects from design to hand‑over.
