Multidiscipline Technical Consultant

About the role

Anton, an integrated oil and gas value-added management services company headquartered in Dubai, is hiring a Multidiscipline Technical Consultant for its On-sync Energy Management Services Company in Kuwait. The role provides technical leadership across Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical engineering, covering troubleshooting, technical assurance and engineering support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex operational troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and multidisciplinary technical reviews.
• Provide technical assurance for Management of Change (MOC), projects, facility modifications and operational changes.
• Assess facility capacity against operational and production requirements and identify technical gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support engineering studies, Statements of Requirements (SOR), FEED, commissioning, start-up and final acceptance.
• Lead optimization, debottlenecking, reliability and performance improvement studies.
• Review engineering designs, technical deliverables and project requirements across disciplines.
• Advise management on critical technical issues, risks and engineering decisions.
• Support process safety, risk assessments, HAZOPs and technical risk mitigation.
• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical knowledge transfer; conduct field visits and support site activities when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree or professional engineering status preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience with strong exposure to operations, projects and multidisciplinary engineering.
• Strong expertise in technical assurance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and facility optimization.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards and industry practices.
• Professional Engineer, HAZOP Leader, PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Upstream Oil & Gas operating-company experience preferred.
