Pediatric Psychologist – Children’s Health Integrated Care Center

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Psychologist to join Taiba Hospital’s Children’s Health Integrated Care Center. In this role you will provide evidence‑based mental‑health services to children and support their families, ensuring seamless integration with the broader pediatric team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs using play‑based methods and standardized tools such as the CBCL and BASC.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy (CBT, play therapy, family counseling) tailored to pediatric populations.
• Coach parents and caregivers on behavior‑management strategies, communication techniques, and home‑based supports.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to embed mental‑health support into each child’s care plan.
• Create workshops and educational materials on tantrum management, anxiety coping, and social development.
• Monitor progress through validated measures, adjust interventions based on data and family feedback.
• Lead team briefings and community outreach to destigmatize pediatric mental‑health care.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (licensed or license‑eligible).
• Minimum three years of experience in pediatric or child‑development settings.
• Proficiency with child‑assessment instruments and EMR documentation.
• Strong play‑therapy and family‑systems intervention skills.
• Exceptional empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
• Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary teamwork.
