About the role
We are seeking a Purchase Officer to join our Purchasing Department in Subhan, Kuwait. The role focuses on managing procurement activities for fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) and supporting the supply chain to ensure timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with logistics and sales teams to align purchasing plans with market demand.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, issue and track purchase orders for FMCG products.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best value.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to avoid stock outs.
- Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to recommend cost‑saving opportunities.
- Process invoices and coordinate with finance for timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and purchase transactions.
Required profile
- Kuwaiti national.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector is preferred.
- Immediate availability to join the team.
