Quality Auditor II

About the role

V2X, a defense contractor supporting WEXMAC, is hiring a Quality Auditor II based in Kuwait. The role monitors the performance of program functional areas and independently audits internal procedures, Statements of Work (SOW) and other governing documents to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. It reports to the Quality Manager, Lead or designee.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a high volume of scheduled and unscheduled audit/surveillance activities and prepare reports continuously in the assigned functional or operational areas, with frequent travel to offsite military bases and local Kuwait commercial establishments.
• Monitor program functions for compliance with the PWS and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assist in root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive action plans, then perform follow-up audits and CAR verifications.
• Mentor Quality Auditor I and act as Quality Lead when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma; two years of related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
• Minimum of five years in a contracting or DOD environment and three to five years of auditing experience.
• Valid driver's license from the country of origin, to obtain and maintain a military or Kuwait driver's license.
• Ability to work in extreme heat, dust and desert conditions, and to wear PPE where required.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and familiarity with FAR, DoD and Army regulations, Army technical bulletins and technical manuals.
• Ability to review contractual documents such as PWS, SOW and QMS.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management.
