Sales Manager – Middle East & Africa Textile Market

About the role

A leading textile manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to expand and manage its home‑textile portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. The role involves promoting a range of products such as bedding sets, curtains, blankets and carpets, while coordinating order fulfilment with the factory team in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers in target markets.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract signing.
• Negotiate commercial terms and ensure profitable agreements.
• Coordinate order processing and logistics with the manufacturing unit.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and address service issues promptly.
• Achieve defined sales targets and report performance.
• Travel across the Middle East and Africa as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, International Trade, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in textile, home‑textile or fabric export is a strong advantage.
• Deep familiarity with Middle Eastern and African markets, purchasing habits and distribution channels.
• Existing customer relationships in the region are preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong negotiation abilities and capacity to develop overseas markets independently.
• Basic knowledge of international trade documentation and export procedures.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned regions.
