Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead and oversee accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and alignment with organizational, operational, and QHSE standards. This role supports strategic decision‑making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries, reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes and prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in F&B or retail.
• Supervisory or senior‑level experience preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems and ERP software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and budgeting.
