Senior Electrical Technician

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group, an independent integrated oilfield technology services company, is hiring a Senior Electrical Technician in Kuwait through its On Sync Energy Management Services Company. The role covers the maintenance, diagnostics and reporting of electrical equipment in an industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic instruments.
• Maintain and update electrical equipment records, drawings and maintenance data in the CMMS.
• Develop and update preventive maintenance requirements based on equipment manuals and maintenance plans.
• Identify manpower, materials, spare parts and tools needed for maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily and monthly maintenance and performance reports.
• Operate and maintain high- and low-voltage electrical networks.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and permit-to-work requirements.
• Maintain electrical equipment, substations, distribution panels, transformers and associated systems.
• Recommend modifications and improvements to improve electrical system reliability.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance, including at least 6 years in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or similar industrial sector.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical equipment, substations, distribution panels and transformers.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and electrical fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience using a CMMS for maintenance and equipment records is preferred.
