Senior Officer – Enterprise Application (SAS IFRS 9 Risk Stratum)

About the role

The employer is looking for an experienced SAS IFRS Risk Stratum Developer and Support Analyst. The role covers the development, enhancement, maintenance and production support of SAS IFRS solutions, working closely with Data and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions that support regulatory compliance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain SAS applications in the IFRS 9 Risk Stratum environment.
• Design and optimise SAS programs, ECL, ETL processes and reporting solutions.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS 9 calculation and reporting cycles.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, data quality issues and system defects, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with business users, risk teams and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Prepare technical, process and operational documentation.
• Take part in system testing, UAT support and deployment.
• Monitor batch processes and ensure scheduled jobs complete on time.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory requirements and development standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAS development.
• Experience with IFRS 9 Risk Management and regulatory reporting solutions.
• Preferred: experience in banking or financial services environments.

Required skills

• SAS Base, SAS Macro Programming, SAS SQL, data integration and ETL.
• Data analysis and reconciliation; large-scale data warehouses and relational databases.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning.
• Banking risk management concepts: IFRS 9, Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Credit Risk, Regulatory Reporting.
• Preferred: Oracle, SQL Server or other enterprise databases.
