Senior Operations Manager - Warehouse & Fulfillment

About the role

Boutiqaat, one of the Middle East's leading e-commerce platforms, is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimise its warehouse, fulfillment, inventory and domestic distribution operations. The role oversees the Central Warehouse and regional fulfillment hubs, working with senior leadership to turn business priorities into operational plans and to improve productivity, cost, capacity, quality and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, inventory, fulfillment and domestic distribution operations across multiple functions
• Oversee high-volume B2C fulfillment, including express, same-day and quick-commerce delivery
• Manage dedicated B2B and retail fulfillment while keeping core operations efficient
• Drive performance against KPIs, service-level agreements, productivity, quality and cost targets
• Lead capacity planning, workforce allocation and resource optimisation, and develop flexible staffing for peaks and seasonal demand
• Optimise warehouse workflows, space use, inventory accuracy and order fulfillment processes
• Partner with Process Excellence, Internal Control and technology teams, and support WMS, automation and transformation initiatives
• Identify operational risks, resolve performance issues and strengthen business continuity
• Lead, coach and develop Area Operations Managers and operational leadership teams
• Provide senior leadership with performance insights, recommendations and improvement plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field; an MBA or master's is preferred
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in warehouse, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, retail or operations management
• At least 6 years of managerial or senior operational leadership experience with large, multifunctional teams
• Proven experience overseeing complex warehouse and fulfillment operations (inbound, outbound, inventory, B2B, B2C)
• Experience managing multi-site operations, third-party logistics providers or regional fulfillment networks is an advantage
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP, WMS and logistics management systems
• Advanced Excel, reporting and analytical skills; business intelligence tools are an advantage
