Warehouse Operations Area Manager

About the role

Boutiqaat, one of the Middle East's leading e-commerce platforms, is looking for an experienced Operations Area Manager to lead high-performing teams and drive operational excellence. The role takes ownership of operational performance within a designated area, coordinating inbound, outbound, inventory and logistics activities, and improving processes so that targets are met with accuracy, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse operations across designated areas, overseeing inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment and logistics.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, accuracy and SLAs to drive performance.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and operational teams.
• Optimize workflows, space utilization and resource allocation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts and discrepancy management.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee picking, packing, dispatch and delivery coordination for timely order fulfillment.
• Work with internal stakeholders and logistics partners, and ensure compliance with procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management or a related field; an MBA or master's is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years in warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong experience managing operational teams in a high-volume environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• E-commerce, retail distribution or high-volume fulfillment experience is particularly valuable.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of inventory control, stock rotation, warehouse processes and logistics management.
• Proficiency in ERP, WMS and logistics management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including reporting, dashboards and data analysis.
• Proven ability to improve efficiency, manage costs and deliver against KPIs.
