Senior Vice President – Financial Planning and Analysis

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the development of URC's long‑range financial plan, design management reporting tools, and ensure rigorous tracking of project and subsidiary performance in line with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop budgets and benchmarks for URC Kuwait, regional offices and subsidiaries.
• Review and enforce financial control guidelines to minimise fraud.
• Provide finance support to the Group CFO, including analysis, best‑practice adoption and implementation of corporate strategies.
• Analyse complex financial data, interpret past performance and forecast future outcomes.
• Assist other departments with financial strategy development and investment appraisal.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and long‑range planning, monitoring revenues, expenses and capital expenditures.
• Manage cash‑flow analysis, predict liquidity trends and liaise with lenders and creditors.
• Continuously improve investment evaluation procedures and financial control systems.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with corporate finance policies.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
• CPA, CMA or MBA qualification.
• 12–15 years of relevant corporate finance experience, preferably in a similarly sized organization.
• Strong English communication skills.
