Showroom Sales Consultant - Interior Design

About the role

MARBELOO specializes in bespoke, high-end Corian furniture, including washbasins, dining tables, consoles and custom pieces. It is looking for a Showroom Sales Consultant with an interior design background to help clients select and customize products, give design advice and manage the sales process from initial enquiry through order confirmation and delivery coordination. The role is based at the MARBELOO showroom in Sun City Mall, Shuwaikh, Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome showroom visitors, understand their requirements, space, style preferences and budget.
• Present the collections, explain Corian materials and finishes, and recommend suitable custom solutions.
• Advise clients on dimensions, colour combinations and furniture proportions.
• Read floor plans and drawings and communicate accurate requirements to the design and production teams.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and close sales.
• Record approved specifications, finishes and dimensions before production.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to keep clients informed about their orders.
• Build relationships with interior designers, architects and design offices.
• Maintain a high standard of showroom presentation and customer service, achieve agreed sales targets and keep accurate customer records.

Required profile

• Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
• Previous showroom sales experience in furniture, kitchens, sanitaryware or interior finishes.
• Strong design sense and understanding of materials, dimensions and custom furniture.
• Confident communication, negotiation and sales closing skills.
• Arabic and English communication skills; Kuwait or GCC market experience preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to read technical drawings; AutoCAD or SketchUp proficiency is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Corian and solid surface fabrication is an advantage.
• Strong organization and consistent follow-up skills.
