Sales Assistant - Fashion Retail

About the role

The Sales Assistant at Maje, The Avenues Kuwait is key to driving sales and creating a welcoming environment that delivers a positive customer experience. The role involves personalized service, contributing to sales growth and carrying out daily store operations as directed by the store management team. Success is measured by sales results, customer satisfaction scores and consistent store presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression with an energetic attitude and adherence to the dress code.
• Greet every customer immediately with a warm, sincere greeting and thank them sincerely when they leave, inviting them back.
• Give customers accurate, current information about products and provide quality service in the fitting rooms, following up promptly and trying to add on to the sale.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, keeping store standards and cleanliness.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, keep the cash wrap clean and record customer information in the database.

Required profile

• High school degree.
• 1-2 years of fashion retail sales experience.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
