About the role
The Team Leader – Butchery is responsible for delivering high quality, fresh product ranges and an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales targets. You will motivate the team, address issues promptly and coach staff to ensure top‑notch service in the butchery section.
Key responsibilities
- Implement commercial policy for store pricing and manage product assortment.
- Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers and monitor section NPS for improvement.
- Prepare stock reports, control out‑of‑stock situations, and manage replenishment orders.
- Drive initiatives to minimise waste, shrinkage and handle slow‑moving items before expiry.
- Ensure correct pricing and planogram compliance on all displays.
Required profile
- Diploma in Commerce or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years experience in retail operations.
- Customer‑service orientation with a pleasant, warm disposition.
- Clear communicator, people‑oriented and detail‑focused.
