Visiting Faculty - Accounting & Finance

About the role

American International University (AIU), a private institution in Kuwait founded in 2019, is looking for a Visiting Faculty member in Accounting and Finance. The position is open to local candidates only and is based in Jahrah. The appointee contributes to undergraduate education, curriculum development, student mentorship and institutional service in a collaborative, multicultural academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovative undergraduate courses in Accounting and at least one additional tangential business subject such as Finance.
• Integrate emerging technologies such as AI-assisted design tools and interactive platforms into the curriculum.
• Develop and update course content to reflect industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain rigorous assessment standards.

Required profile

• PhD in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a similar field.
• University teaching experience in the subject matter.
• Industry experience in the teaching field.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching.
