Assistant Manager – Stewarding

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Stewarding will support the leadership of the banquet and catering services within the hotel’s stewarding department. Reporting to senior management, you will help ensure seamless service delivery for indoor and outdoor events, contributing to guest satisfaction in line with Hyatt International standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the banquet and catering operations, including staffing, training and scheduling.
• Maintain high‑quality service standards for all banquet and outdoor catering events.
• Manage the department as an efficient cost and service centre, monitoring budgets and resource utilisation.
• Plan, organise, direct and control stewarding activities and related administration.
• Coordinate closely with other hotel departments to ensure smooth event execution.

Required profile

• Proven hotel experience with a thorough understanding of banquet service levels.
• Strong result‑oriented mindset with people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication skills for liaison with multiple departments.
• Ability to remain calm and productive under pressure.
• Proactive work style.
