DFAC Shift Lead

About the role

The DFAC Shift Lead oversees food service operations and supports supply movement for the rations warehouse. This position ensures strict compliance with food safety regulations while supervising personnel and maintaining a clean, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct food handling, storage, receiving, and transfer in accordance with the Tri‑Service Food Code.
• Maintain accurate records of all food received and stored.
• Escort and monitor other‑country‑national employees and vendors per the performance work statement.
• Operate a 2.5‑ton refrigerated truck and a 10 k forklift.
• Assist Storeroom and DFAC Supervisors to provide 24/7/365 food service support.
• Ensure compliance with AFI 34‑239, AFMAN 34‑240, HACCP procedures, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment.
• Safeguard government and contractor property and complete accurate time reporting.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification to operate a 2.5‑ton reefer truck and a 10 k forklift.
• Current Serve‑Safe certification (within the last 3 years).
• Valid U.S. passport and U.S. or local driver’s license.
• Active U.S. Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.

Required skills
