Electrical Engineer – ELV (Design)

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specialized in Extra‑Low‑Voltage (ELV) design to join our project team. You will translate client requirements into detailed ELV schematics, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support the delivery of high‑quality design documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, scope, schedule and deliverables.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client design requirements before starting design work.
• Coordinate with Lead/Senior ELV Engineer for clarifications, heat‑dissipation and load calculations.
• Review and revise reports and drawings based on client comments and contractual obligations.
• Maintain quality control on all drawings, adhering to PACE quality and CAD standards.
• Share ELV models weekly for coordination with other disciplines.
• Coordinate space requirements for ELV services with architects (MOC rooms, server rooms, control rooms, IDF rooms, etc.).
• Assist with site surveys, respond to technical queries from site ELV engineers, and attend coordination workshops and site visits.
• Prepare ELV scheme, design and layout plans, and guide modelers.
• Collaborate with HVAC and fire‑alarm engineers to align smoke zones and fire‑alarm zones.
• Verify sample materials submitted by contractors for compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing ELV systems.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and standards for ELV installations.
• Ability to interpret client and authority requirements and translate them into design deliverables.
• Excellent coordination skills with architects, engineers and project teams.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate, error‑free design documentation on schedule.
