Occupational Therapist II – Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the role

The Occupational Therapist II provides autonomous, accountable care to a complex inpatient rehabilitation population. Working within the Occupational Therapy department, the role supports both patient outcomes and departmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered occupational therapy services during day shift (7:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.).
• Maintain and demonstrate proficiency in all departmental competencies and orientation requirements.
• Contribute to professional development initiatives and continuous improvement of the therapy program.
• Document care plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive rehabilitation care.

Required profile

• Active Arkansas State Board license in Occupational Therapy.
• BS, MS, or Doctorate (DOT) in Occupational Therapy.
• Less than one year of professional experience is acceptable; must meet Level II career ladder requirements.
• CPR certification required (or can be completed upon hire).

Required skills

• CPR certification.
