Temporary Billing Accountant – 6‑Month Contract (Urgent)

About the role

This temporary position supports the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely billing, invoice processing, and payment coordination for a six‑month period. The role is critical for maintaining cash flow and resolving billing issues with customers and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare customer invoices immediately after service delivery and manage recurring billing cycles.
• Process cash and check deposits, follow up on returned checks, and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Receive goods receipt vouchers (GRVs), verify invoices against purchase orders, and process payments.
• Create and maintain fixed‑asset records in the Microsoft Dynamics GP system.
• Coordinate with receivables, cashiers, and HR to adjust funds, process advance payments, and handle payroll‑related transactions.
• Verify supplier invoices for bandwidth and hardware services, ensuring cost justification.
• Maintain company bank accounts, produce monthly bank reconciliation reports, and support external/internal auditors during period‑end closing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, or similar finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of invoice verification, bank reconciliation, and payroll processing.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
