Bid Engineer

About the role

The Bid Engineer is responsible for managing the preparation and submission of bids, quotations and proposals in response to customer requests such as EOIs, PQQs, ITTs and RFPs. The role works closely with sales, technical and support teams to ensure winning proposals are delivered on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Act as program officer for all bids, coordinating with pre‑sales, technical, support and sales members.
• Review RFP and tender documents to understand requirements and develop bid strategies.
• Prepare, supervise and format proposals, ensuring all relevant documents are incorporated.
• Design the content, organization and visual layout of bids and proposals.
• Maintain a database of submitted bids and track bid status.
• Ensure information security, confidentiality and compliance with ISMS/BCMS requirements.
• Oversee bid closing process and verify that all checklist items are met before submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a coordination role within an office environment.
• Experience reviewing, writing, editing and producing large commercial documents.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and manage several bids simultaneously.
