Sales Consultant - Damas x Tanishq

About the role

Damas Jewellery, founded in 1907 and headquartered in Dubai, is the leading jeweller in the Middle East with 150 stores across the GCC and a portfolio of over 40 international brands and its own in-house collections. It is hiring a Sales Consultant for its Damas x Tanishq jewellery line. The role covers product sales, retail operations and customer feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Sales: receive and engage with customers, introduce product offerings, prepare estimates and complete transactions, achieve category sales targets and assist with returns and repairs
• Retail operations: follow store SOPs and cost-saving practices, count and maintain daily stock records, keep counters properly displayed, transfer stock to lockers at day's end, protect products and report potential theft, monitor dead stock and liaise with the store manager, support marketing, VM and IRSG teams and build relationships with competitors
• Feedback management: collect and relay customer feedback to corporate teams such as merchandising and retail operations, and handle customer queries and complaints according to company guidelines

Required profile

• Graduate or minimum high school qualification
• 2 to 5 years of experience in luxury retail, customer service or hospitality
• General knowledge of jewellery
• Knowledge of English; knowledge of any Indian regional languages preferred
• Availability to work retail hours including weekends, open to 6-day weeks or split shifts
