Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (Full-time, Kuwait City)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our on‑site team in Kuwait City. This full‑time position focuses on delivering comprehensive mental‑health care to young patients, integrating both biological and holistic treatment approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses for children and adolescents.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and brain‑stimulation therapies where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary mental‑health professionals, caregivers, and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with local health regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) with board certification in Child Psychiatry.
• Valid psychiatric license in the country of practice and eligibility for licensure with the Kuwait Ministry of Health.
• Minimum of three years post‑specialization experience in child and adolescent psychiatry.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English; candidates lacking Arabic fluency will not be considered.
