Counter Sales Associate

About the role

The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for selling displayed food items, organizing counter operations, and ensuring all orders are prepared and served on time.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and serve walk‑in customers, providing high‑level service through product knowledge.
• Process orders received from waiters, arrange them according to service standards and ensure timely delivery.
• Receive daily orders, check items against specifications, display them in the presentation fridge and maintain regular restocking while upholding hygiene standards.
• Participate in opening and closing duties in compliance with internal procedures.
• Maintain and report records such as daily training logs, taste panels and wastage forms.
• Receive and process cash payments, including exchanges, following established policies.
• Place product orders through coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare takeaway orders, ensuring proper wrapping and handling of special requests.
• Implement hygiene practices, including “clean as you go” and regular sanitising of the counter display.
• Complete monthly inventory of all consumable items.

Required profile

• High school degree.
• 0‑1 years of experience in customer service or a similar role.
• Fluency in English.
