EMT Paramedic – Emergency Medical Services in Kuwait

About the role

The NREMT Paramedic will provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and emergency medical response for personnel at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. This position supports 24/7 medical readiness in a remote, austere environment under the V2X program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BLS emergency medical response, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport for authorized personnel on Camp Arifjan.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide trauma care, airway management, cardiac care, medication administration, and emergency stabilization within scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient transfers and support MEDEVAC operations as required.
• Maintain readiness of emergency vehicles, equipment, medications, and supplies.
• Document patient care activities and operational reports in accordance with EMS standards.
• Participate in mass‑casualty planning, emergency preparedness exercises, and contingency medical operations.

Required profile

• Valid NREMT Paramedic certification.
• Ability to work in a remote, austere operational environment and respond to emergencies 24/7.
• Familiarity with DoD, U.S. Army, and V2X emergency medical requirements.
• Willingness to support clinic operations and standby duties as directed.
