About the role
The Food Services Supervisor ensures that the dining operations run smoothly, staff work cohesively, and guests receive exceptional service in a luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate food service staff to deliver optimal guest experiences.
- Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the facility.
- Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and conduct regular inventories.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Complete work orders for maintenance and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Enforce company safety, security, and fairness policies, reporting incidents as required.
- Provide courteous guest interactions, anticipate needs, and support guests with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant food‑service experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to read and verify information in various formats and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb.
