Information Technology Technical Support (IT Support & Systems Administrator)

About the role

A full-time, on-site IT Support & Systems Administrator position based in Kuwait. The role maintains and supports the company's IT infrastructure across its branches, central kitchen and head office, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and POS issues, managing user accounts and providing timely technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support across all company locations.
• Manage and troubleshoot POS systems, particularly Foodics.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, tablets and networking equipment.
• Maintain internet connectivity, routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks and IP configurations.
• Administer email accounts, user access and system permissions.
• Support CCTV systems and coordinate maintenance when required.
• Perform regular system updates, backups and basic cybersecurity checks.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and technical documentation.
• Support new branch openings and IT infrastructure installations.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple locations.
• Previous experience in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry is an advantage.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting, networking and hardware maintenance.
• POS systems; Foodics experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and basic cybersecurity practices.
