Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Aesthetics

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a non‑promotional, field‑based scientific expert who supports AbbVie’s Allergan Aesthetics portfolio across its product life‑cycle. The role focuses on building scientific credibility with key opinion leaders and facilitating scientific exchange on both marketed products and pipeline compounds.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop trusted relationships with external experts and KOLs within the assigned geography.
• Engage in balanced, peer‑to‑peer scientific dialogue to inform on AbbVie products and disease‑state topics.
• Deliver credible scientific presentations and lead meetings for healthcare professionals when requested.
• Collect and report medical and scientific field intelligence, including competitor activities and emerging developments.
• Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to ensure coordinated stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Strong scientific and clinical background in the relevant therapeutic area(s).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with external experts.
• Ability to operate independently in a field‑based environment.
• Understanding of compliance with national laws, regulations and guidelines.
