Principal - Segments Marketing Lead

About the role

The Principal – Segments is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for assigned customer segments. Working closely with the marketing team, this role creates customized campaigns to meet unique segment needs and drives revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a process to gather and communicate competitive intelligence to shape strategy based on marketplace dynamics.
• Design marketing plans targeting specific customer segments using channels such as email, social media, direct mail, and advertising.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to develop products and services that meet segment-specific needs.
• Work with the Sales team to identify targets and leverage deep customer insights for effective sales.
• Implement customer retention strategies to maintain loyalty.
• Manage segment dashboards and performance metrics, adjusting campaigns as needed.
• Generate and report KPIs related to financials, sales, and portfolio management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the service industry, preferably banking.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Results‑oriented with persuasive communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in cross‑functional collaboration and project management.

Required skills

• Marketing expertise with knowledge of investment products and financial services (preferred).
• Product knowledge and exposure to financial services.
• Project management qualification is a plus.
