Sales Associate - Luxury Chocolate Retail

About the role

Butterfly Chocolate Co., Kuwait's luxury chocolate house, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Associate in Kuwait City. The associate welcomes customers, gives product information and guides them through luxury chocolate and pastry choices, while supporting the retail environment and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, give product information and help them choose chocolate and pastry items suited to their needs and occasions.
• Manage point-of-sale transactions and handle payments.
• Pack orders to brand standards and keep the shop clean and visually appealing.
• Monitor stock levels, restock shelves and report product needs to management.
• Assist with corporate orders and coordinate with the kitchen and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and client-facing skills, with the ability to build rapport and give personalized support.
• Sales and retail experience, including cash handling, POS operation and basic upselling and cross-selling.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic is highly beneficial.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of personal presentation.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuwait City, including weekends, holidays and peak seasons.
• Interest in premium chocolate, pastries or hospitality, and willingness to learn the product and brand story.
• Previous experience in hospitality, luxury retail or food and beverage is preferred but not required.
