About the role
The Team Leader for Fruits & Vegetables ensures high quality, range and freshness standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience and meet sales targets in a hypermarket environment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement commercial pricing policy and manage product assortment.
- Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers and monitor discount displays.
- Track NPS scores and drive improvements.
- Prepare stock reports, control out‑of‑stock situations, and manage replenishment orders.
- Reduce waste and shrinkage, and report on waste items.
- Identify slow‑moving items and promote sales before expiry.
- Maintain correct pricing and planogram compliance on all displays.
Required profile
- Diploma in Commerce or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of retail operations experience.
- Customer‑service orientation with a pleasant, warm disposition.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Detail‑oriented and people‑focused.
