Team Leader - VM - Mamas & Papas

About the role

Mamas & Papas is looking for a Team Leader for its VM department in Kuwait. The role ensures excellent customer service by managing the department team and monitoring operations such as merchandising and stock control so that department targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the department team and monitor operations including merchandising and stock control to meet targets
• Maintain Retail and Brand standards and act as a role model and support for team members
• Support the induction of new starters and train all department staff on the department, working with the store manager and training department
• Encourage the team to follow personal grooming standards advised by the store manager
• Coach the sales team and lead by example on the shop floor to deliver excellent customer service
• Resolve customer complaints personally or pass them to the store manager, and greet every customer warmly
• Identify customer needs, recommend and demonstrate products, suggest link products and close sales
• Check stock levels daily, report depleting stock to the store manager and minimise stock loss
• Comply with company policies including refund and exchange, security and health and safety

Required profile

• High school or "O" Level education
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service environment
