Design Audit Engineer

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Design Audit Engineer to support a major port infrastructure project in Kuwait. The successful candidate will lead comprehensive design reviews and audits, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough design reviews and audits of port infrastructure documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Verify compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements.
• Identify design flaws, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts and optimise outcomes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to decisions on design modifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design review, audit processes, or related engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of port infrastructure and marine engineering principles.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations governing port design and construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional, multicultural teams.
