Junior Draftsman – Entry Level

About the role

A well‑reputed company in Kuwait is seeking a motivated Junior Draftsman to join its growing team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop technical drawing skills while supporting senior engineers on construction and landscape projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist senior engineers and designers in preparing shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and collect project information.
• Revise drawings based on project and client requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams to guarantee drawing accuracy.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Draftsman in the construction or landscape industry.
• Visa 18 with transferable status.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Revit, Lumion (advantage).
