Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will be a critical member of the Accounting Team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing accounting systems, assess risks, and design appropriate internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Independently manage accounting, compliance, and audit activities for smaller legal entities.
• Coordinate with Finance to provide timely information and analysis for decision‑making.
• Monitor regulatory changes and work with Legal and Ministry teams to ensure local law compliance.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.

Required profile

• Graduated in Accounting or Commerce with solid accounting knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving and presentation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
